The sweet potato is ranked highest in nutritional value. Besides simple starches, sweet potatoes are rich in complex carbohydrates, dietary fiber, beta carotene, vitamin C and vitamin B6.

Making fries yourself may seem like a chore, but this side dish is super easy to make.

Sweet potatoes

Olive oil spray

Salt and pepper


1. Cut the sweet potatoes into thin strips like fries.

2. Spray them with olive oil spray and bake them for about 30-40 minutes, turning halfway through baking.

3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
