A Grateful Start
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; because this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.—1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (NIV)

According to tradition, St. Patrick wore a breastplate adorned with a special prayer that began, “I arise today through the strength of Heaven.” He wore it as a shield of divine protection. Do you have a special prayer or verse that you hold dear to your heart?
