For a Troubled Child

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5 God of Mercy, my child has gone astray. Guide me to help them get back on the right path. Infuse me with the knowledge to know the difference between helping and enabling irresponsible behavior. Lord, I know that You are always with my child—in the dark, in the light, waking up, going to sleep—please lead them to hear and heed Your voice. Amen.
