Live with Constant Hope

And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.—Psalm 39:7 (NLT)
Norman Vincent Peale said, “The key to surviving any challenge or crisis is hope. Hope that Jesus loves you. Hope that He is, right now, working out a solution for you. Hope that the future you place in His hands will be better than the present you hold in your own.”
Lord, as we close one year and begin anew, I turn to You and have faith that Your promises will come true.

Your Pathway to Miracles

He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth—the Lord God Almighty is his name.—Amos 4:13 (NIV)
Augustine of Hippo is quoted as saying, “Miracles are not contrary to nature but only contrary to what we know about nature.” Do you limit your prayers to earthly thinking? The same Almighty God who created the oceans and wind, hears your prayers. Tell Him your concerns; believe in His infinite power and wondrous abilities to miraculously answer your needs.
Great Creator, I believe that nothing is impossible because of You.

Wise of Heart

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.—Psalm 90:12 (NIV)
As the end of the year draws near, reflect on your faith journey. Search your heart for anything that is in the way of your relationship with God. Ask for His forgiveness for what you need to make right with Him. Take a deep breath and let the past go.
Dear Lord, help me make each day count as I focus on the days ahead.

Everything You Need

The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.—John 6:63 (NLT)

We the Redeemed

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.—Galatians 4:4–5 (ESV)
Center your heart on God, and reflect on the arrival of His Son. God redeemed the world by the coming of Jesus. As we approach Christmas, place your life in His hands. Allow yourself to be His instrument.

It’s a Wonderful Life

So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun.—Ecclesiastes 8:15 (NIV)
Take a moment and reflect on your life—the many lives you’ve touched and the many people that have helped, encouraged and blessed you. Appreciate how wonderful your life is—exactly as it is—right now.
Heavenly Father, because of You, I am living a rich and wonderful life beyond measure.
