Your God-Given Purpose

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.—Philippians 3:14 (NIV)
God has a special purpose in mind for you. If you feel distracted or distanced from His plan, pray for help to discern His guidance. Ask for clarity as you hone your vision to do His work here on earth.
Lord, encourage me to keep traveling higher and higher on this journey. I am committed to fulfilling my purpose.

Who hasn’t read the above verse and thought, “Why did only one person thank Him for healing such a disfiguring disease?” Yet, when we take a moment and recognize the many blessings that we have forgotten to praise God for, the mistake of the nine lepers becomes more understandable. Today, thank God for your faith and the new life His Word provides.
Heavenly Father, my heart overflows with thanksgiving for Your endless forgiveness and the countless blessings You have showered on my life.
