Patience in Hard Times

“You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said. “You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time.”—1 Samuel 13:13 (NIV)

Trusting God when things aren’t going your way can be very challenging. In the above passage, Saul felt that he was running out of time. Impatient and worried, he acted against God’s will and suffered the consequences. The next time you are experiencing a waiting period, don’t let your impatience overpower your desire to please God.
