OurPrayer Statement of Faith

• We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
• We believe in one God who is revealed to us in three persons: God the Father who has created us in His own image, Jesus Christ, God’s Son and our Lord, who died for the   forgiveness of our sins, and the Holy Spirit whose presence guides our daily lives.
• We believe in Jesus Christ’s incarnation, death, resurrection, and His coming again.
• We believe in the power of prayer, which lifts the problems of our daily lives, our families and our communities directly to God.

OurPrayer Volunteer Agreement

Read and indicate your agreement below:

I affirm that I am a person of integrity and will uphold the OurPrayer Promise. (please read)

I will keep all prayer requests confidential and will not:

• Reveal any information to anyone, other than OurPrayer ministry staff, that might lead to the identification of a prayer requestor.
• Initiate personal contact with any person requesting prayer on any forum.
• Reveal any personal information or procedures that might lead to the identification of myself, another volunteer, or ministry staff.

I accept my role to be that of intercessor and will not make referrals except in the case of suicidal requestors. I will not:

• Give out any phone numbers that are not approved by OurPrayer.
• Offer advice or any service other than prayer.
• Claim any specialized skill or knowledge beyond the power of prayer.
• Prescribe medical treatment, recommend medicine or drugs, or give legal advice.

I understand that I will be supervised and monitored to ensure the integrity of the ministry.

I will not engage in self-promotion and/or advertising of my own ministry, services, products or charities while on the Prayer Line or other prayer forums.

I will not engage in personal conversation, or questions leading to discussion with the caller that includes political, theological or doctrinal issues.

I hereby confirm that I am at least 18 years age and will faithfully keep my commitment to pray for the needs of others as a member of OurPrayer.

I understand that this Agreement does not end with the termination of my role as a volunteer and OurPrayer reserves the right to revoke my membership as a prayer volunteer upon violation of this Agreement, which pertains to all forums and media, for example web, phone and social networks.
